Categories:
- Animation - 1-5 minutes
- Book Trailer – 1 minute
- Commercial – 1 minute
- Documentary – 1-5 minutes
- Feature Film – 1-5 minutes
- Music Video – 1-5 minutes (no commercial music allowed)
- iPad, iPod, iPhone – 1 minute
- Teacher Submission – 1-5 minutes

- Best Documentary
- Best Feature Film
- Best Inspirational Film
- Best Music Video
- Best Collaboration
- Best Teacher Film

Entry Guidelines and Rules
- Films are to be created entirely by students. That means written, filmed, and edited completely by students.
- Students must collaborate with at least one or more student to create their films.
- Your school may enter up to 5 films, however no more than two of those films can be entered in the same category.
- Copyright laws must be observed. Any commercial/copyrighted music, images, or video used in any film will automatically eliminate that film from award consideration. Any media that is not created by the students should be cited in the film’s credits.
- Films need to be submitted on CD or DVD in a QuickTime format at the highest quality possible.
- Awards will be given for the “best” film in each category at the Film Festival to be held at the JSD ASB. Awards will not be announced prior to the awards ceremony.
