DISTRICT INSTRUCTIONAL SUPPORT CENTER
AT TERRA LINDA ELEMENTARY SCHOOL

ACCESS TO INSTRUCTIONAL SUPPORT CENTERS

The Instructional Support Center (ISC) located at Terra Linda Elementary School shall be used only for preparation of instructional materials, staff development needs, and official District business.  Use of the laminators, die cutters, bindery equipment, and all other facilities and services in the centers shall be restricted to school and District projects.  Because Jordan School District subsidizes the operation of and materials for the ISCs, employees should take personal or non-school related projects to libraries or outside printing firms.

No religious materials may be produced in the ISCs.  This includes materials used in home school education settings.

                                Responsibilities Of Instructional Support Centers Staff

ELIGIBLE PATRONS

  • Jordan School District employees
  • Volunteers and PTA members as submitted and approved by principals or department administrators.  The proper “Authorization for Use” form must be submitted with the signature of the appropriate administrator.
  • Regular substitutes are not eligible to use the ISC.  Long-term substitutes may use the ISC with an authorization form provided by the teacher substitute clerk in Human Resources.
  • Home school patrons may use the center if they are on the approved list provided by Planning and Student Services Department.
  • Non-approved individuals will not be allowed to use the ISCs.

PATRON IDENTIFICATION
District employees must wear approved district identification badges when using the ISCs.

Volunteers and PTA members must have their names submitted by an appropriate administrator, show picture identification to the ISC staff, and wear a temporary “Volunteer” badge when using the ISCs.

CHILDREN IN THE ISC
Due to liability, no children under the age of 12 will be allowed in the ISC.  Patrons are not to leave their children in any school area or outside without supervision.  ISC personnel cannot assist with child supervision.
