Grants

Grant Process

  • JSD's Grant Approval Process has been designed to:
  • Identify district resources that might enhance your project and improve its chances for being funded
  • Gain principal support for your project
  • Build district support for your project when district support is a requirement for application

Grant Approval Process

Please complete the Grant Application (District Process) form as soon as you know you are applying for the grant and follow the directions.  Even if the applicant can answer "No" to all ten (10) questions, the application must be signed by the principal.  Principals forward the original form and a copy of the submitted application to the appropriate Executive Director as well as a copy of the completed form and a copy of the submitted application to the grants management specialist.

When the grant is funded, a copy of any award notification must be sent to Rachel Langshall, Grants Management Specialist, District Office.   If any of the ten (10) questions are answered "Yes," please call Rachel Langshall at (801) 567-8378 immediately to schedule a District Grant Review.

  • When Does a Grant Proposal Require District Grant Committee Review?
