| Snowball is a fun strategy that promotes open discussion of text-related topics. The teacher asks certain discussion questions, and students answer on a piece of paper. On signal, students then crumple up the paper and throw it at someone else. when a student retrieves a paper, he/she responds in writing on that paper to the previous comment, and the process of "snowballing" is repeated. There may be several rounds for each discussion question. | ||
