| In this activity a novel or other large piece of text is broken into chunks. Each student or group of students reads one chunk and reports on that chunk to the rest of the class. There are various ways to report out, from writing or drawing on an overhead to making a poster or picture book page. You can also use the jigsaw strategy to have the students share in smaller groups. Using this strategy, you can literally read an entire novel in a class period! | ||
