Teaching Strategies

This is a game used to teach or review sequencing. The original game is a series of cards that ask the students to do certain actions at certain times (for example, when someone claps twice, write your name on the board). The students race against the clock to see how quickly they can complete the entire sequence of cards. This original game can be adapted to any content; I have created a set to teach the sequence of the sinking of Titanic, and another teacher has made a game to teach the order of events in the novel The Outsiders. It can be played at the beginning of a unit, or as a review at the end.
