Announcements

We are off to a great start!

Thank you for the warm, professional welcome to JSD!

We have "set our courses" and are on our way to enhancing our science achievement. We have:

  • Updated our individual school safety profiles
  • Participated in our district pilot for common assessments, or
  • Administered our individual school/classroom common assessments
  • Collaborated on curriculum frameworks

All of these efforts are most appreciated...here's to working together to move your individual school and/or classroom science agendas forward.

SCIENCE FAIR

Have you received the information on our district science fair?

Has your school set its science fair dates?

  • JSD's science fair be held on February 23rd and 24th at Riverton High School
  • February 23rd will be in the afternoon/evening for student interviews
  • February 24th will be for final judging
  • CUSEF (BYU) science fair will be held on March 29th, 2012.
  • Registration forms are needed by March 2nd, 2012 (These will be copied [color coded] and delivered to your school.)
  • Email the Secondary Science Specialist if you did not receive the detailed email or if you have any questions.

We have volunteers witing to help with your schools Science Fair...let us know!!
